BANYAN is the final track on the upcoming album ”HANA - Three Bodies (Original Soundtrack)” that will be released October 6th on PACAYA records, vinyl and digital.

I composed the music for a Butoh dance piece with the same name, initiated by the dancer/coreographer Frauke. Butoh (舞踏) is a Japanese minimalistic modern dance and the whole piece intend to depict HANA (Japanese for flower) as it manifests in GODAI; the five elements according to Japanese philosophy, Fire, Water, Air, Earth and Void.

This single - BANYAN - is the end of the whole piece and it represents the element Air.
